Ahoy Star Cruise!
On 10th December, I had the lovely opportunity to go for a star cruise vacation with you and your family. Although it was a crazy decision because my parents came back only a day before we left, I am glad that we went for it. It was a great time. So much sleeping. So much food (veggies!!), so much sun and fun.
So on Sunday, I went to my Psychology camp at Pulau Ubin. It was to be a 4 days 3 nights camp. Haha. Luckily my mother didn't check my bag because it will be filled with clothes that are not suitable for camp! I feel very bad for bluffing her and misusing her and my dad's trust in me, but sometimes I think a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. So off I go to your house!
First day on board the ship, it brought back a lot of memories of me and family last time. When my brother and I were still small kids running down the corridor, going to the arcade and playing lots of games. Everything was still how I remembered it. Except that the staff are not so cute anymore. Haha! So on this day we didnt do anything much... You went to jacuzzi while I just looked on with my Time magazine. And man! You do love that jacuzzi a lot. And that bathroom inside. And you taught me to eat the nice oranges there too. Do you know its the first time I ate oranges at a buffet and it taste that good? Haha. Most of the time, at other buffets they are really quite horrible. We had dinner with ur family and relatives. Made my first foray into the casino and played bingo later on that night.
Second day we went to Penang. Penang was as usual a hot oven and we went to the cze cha place, the salted fish, tau sar piah, prawn noodles and chendol place. I think we both slept a lot in the van! It was so hot! I think Jerry was the only one who was most shiok because everyone is fanning him. Lucky boy. haha
Third day we went to Phuket. Phuket is still Phuket. Unless we go off to other island, its nth much I think. Just shopping and eating. We went to this nice open air place for lunch with the sea near to us. You were perspiring a lot as usual. And I think I am jealous of that now. haha. I think it should be attributed to your high metabolism. I wish I have that too. On this journey you slept a lot too! And once when the van bumped very hard along the road you jerked and woke up. Haha. And you thought I poked you to wake you up. That was very funny. Haha. We went for our respective massage and you were so oily after that. So yucky. And you keep buying coke at Phuket. While going back, your sister's mother in law keep on saying that Jerry kept on staring at us. Because last time you would always carry him but now you keep on holding my hand. Hehe.
Last day on board was a bit sad because I couldn't bear to leave you. The chicken wings were nice but the orange juice is over priced darling. From the whole trip, I must agree that its really great to go on board and do nothing. And you can't really do anything because you can't. But next time if we ever go I WILL bring my running shoes. The gym looks so nice! Track mill facing the ocean. Sigh. What a waste. hehe. But nvm. ECP also is next to the sea. haha.
And I love this picture that was taken with you just before we left.
Because both of us are smiling! Although it was taken with your NOKIA phone. haha. This other one is nice too.
I must say I really enjoyed the whole trip. It was great being able to get to know your family and relatives better. Your dad and mum were as usual very very nice people and hopefully I can get to know them better next time. I talked a bit more to your sister and Ben and they are really a very sweet couple. Your sister loves Jerry so much. Its very nice to see the look in her eyes when she carries him - full of love and motherly protection. Glad to know Alex a bit better too and I really find that he's such a friendly, caring, nice guy. You should introduce your friends to him :P and your dad's 2nd sister whom I really like bcos she likes to exercise and eat veggies. and Celine is just a normal playful kid. She's not that bad =)
Thanks for the whole experience darling. Really grateful to your family for making it possible and for having you with me!
